| General Thomas (Stonewall) Jackson was badly wounded in a friendly fire incident during the battle of Chancellorsville, resulting in the loss of his left arm. When Robert E. Lee heard this news he remarked that Jackson had lost his left arm but that he (Lee) had lost his right. Hondo is my right arm. As selfless and devoted as Hanna is sometimes demanding and let’s face it, spoiled, Hondo is always at my side, eager to be of assistance. His cheerful nature permeates the whole team. I am truly blessed to still have him after ten years of duty. It is he who has been whispering in my ear for years, “Daddy, nobody is going to take you seriously if you don’t have a website.“ So here we are. This border collie mix has carved himself a permanent place in my heart.
